The system presents data at borough/district and ward level within Nottinghamshire.
Users can select from four live, fully interactive applications for analysing and
presenting the data – mapping, ranking, compare and profile.
Click here to go to the help page. Using data selected by you, the system
can create 'thematic' maps, generate league tables and compare performance, or profile
an area based on a number of indicators. All analysis results can then be emailed
or downloaded for use.
Local Data
A key further development for this system will be to enable locally gathered data
to be entered and displayed. As we – local residents, public agencies, voluntary
and community groups, and private businesses – strive to shape the future of Nottinghamshire,
we will need to work in partnership. It is important that we are able to share locally
relevant information gathered from within the county. This system offers all partners
an opportunity to ensure we genuinely understand local issues and can develop policies
and services that address these.
Your Feedback
Your feedback will ensure the system continues to evolve in a way that meets your
needs so it's important you use the 'contact' button on the system to tell us what
you think. Are there any other applications that would be useful, e.g. modelling,
time series analysis, comparison of different datasets on one thematic map, facilities
mapping etc? At what geographical level should information be made available? And,
most importantly, what locally gathered datasets should be included or could you
contribute?
